• Skirting boards, sockets, switches, radiators and pipework wiped down
• Floors vacuumed and washed, hard floors and carpets ready for the keys
• Photos sent to the site manager when the clean is finished

Why the dust keeps coming back

Fine dust from sanding filler and cutting board hangs in the air and settles for hours after the last trade leaves, and it sits in places nobody looks: the top edge of a door, the inside of an extractor hood, the back of a radiator. A quick wipe-down the same afternoon looks fine and then shows a film again by the next morning. The clean is planned around that, with surfaces done from the top of the room down, so dust from high-level cleaning is not dropped onto a floor that has already been washed.

Working to your handover date

On a site the clean is usually the last thing before the keys go over, which means it is also the thing that gets squeezed when anything earlier runs late.
